Afghan security forces have discovered and confiscated a range of weapons from East Panjshir province. The official news agency Bakhtar has given this information on Saturday. “The security forces of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan have collected 74 rounds of weapons of various types in Abshar district of Panjshir province during several military operations,” the statement said.
Bakhtar Xinhua news agency reported that the confiscated weapons have been handed over to the relevant departments. Panjshir, 200 km north of Kabul, tried to challenge the Taliban during their occupation of Afghanistan in mid-August. However, the caretaker government led by the Taliban captured Panjshir in September.
