  • Chinese Dragon is stunned by Army Chief General MM Naravane’s warning
  • China’s Foreign Ministry has said that India and China are in talks
  • Dragon said that we hope the people of India will refrain from commenting

The Chinese Dragon, which is repeatedly ‘cheating’ in the name of talks with India, has been stunned by the warnings of Army Chief General MM Naravane. China’s Foreign Ministry has said that India and China are in talks with diplomatic and military channels to reduce tension on the border. Dragon said that we hope that the people of India will refrain from making non-constructive comments. Earlier, Army Chief General Naravane on Wednesday, while rejecting China’s new border law, had given a blunt message that the Indian Army would give a befitting reply to the PLA.

China has been furious at this statement of the army chief and the Foreign Ministry has issued a statement advising it not to comment. The 14th round of talks between India and China was held on Wednesday which failed to reach any solution. China is repeatedly wasting time only in the name of dialogue and it is busy in strengthening its military preparedness from Aksai Chin to Arunachal.

Until the issue is resolved, such things will keep coming.
In view of this threat, Army Chief General Naravane had said that there has been a partial withdrawal of troops along the LAC with China, but the threat remains. He said that the activities of terrorists have increased in various launch pads on the Western Front. The Army Chief said that we have increased the capacity of force, infrastructure, weapons in the entire Northern Front including Eastern Ladakh. In the last one and a half years at the Northern Front, our capability has grown in many ways.

On reports of China building infrastructure in Arunachal Pradesh, the Army Chief said it happens because the LAC is not fixed. He said that there are different perceptions about where the border actually is. As long as border issues remain unresolved, such issues will continue to come to the fore. General Naravane said that the long term solution is to resolve the boundary question and not the differences in our bilateral relations. He said that we are well prepared for the security of our borders. The Army Chief said that there is no doubt that the status quo which is today can be changed anytime.
