Britain’s controversial Muslim leader Lord Nazir Ahmed, a friend of Pakistani PM Imran Khan, has been found guilty of sexually assaulting two children. Lord Nazir was found guilty on Wednesday of sexually assaulting a child in the 1970s and attempted rape of a girl in the 1970s. Laud Nazir, a former Labor Party leader, has been found guilty of unnatural sex with a child and attempted rape twice with a girl. The charges against Nazir along with his two brothers, Mohammad Farooq and Mohammad Tariq, have been found to be true. Both the brothers of Nazir were found unfit to appear in the trial due to their old age. Earlier, a woman had told the court that Nazir Ahmed had attempted rape in the years 1973 and 1974.

The British court will now announce the sentence in this case on 4 February.
