Pakistan’s most wanted terrorist Khalid Batli alias Mohammad Khurasani has been killed in the eastern Nangarhar province of Afghanistan. Mohammad Khorsani was a senior leader of the banned terrorist organization Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) in Pakistan. Top military officials of Pakistan have confirmed his death. However, it has not yet been told how it died.
Was involved in many attacks in Pakistan
Pakistani officials said that Mohammad Khurasani, about 50 years old, was also the spokesperson of the TTP. He was also involved in many attacks on the people and security forces of Pakistan. Officials claimed that he was frequently visiting Kabul after the Taliban seized power in Afghanistan. Pakistan claims that it was uniting different factions of its organization with TTP chief Mufti Noor Wali Mehsud.
Khurasani was a resident of Gilgit-Baltistan
Pakistan has claimed that it was also planning terrorist attacks. He had also recently threatened to carry out terrorist attacks inside Pakistan. Khalid Batti alias Mohammad Khurasani, a resident of Gilgit-Baltistan, was the operational commander of the TTP for the past several years. In 2007 he joined the banned Tehrik Nifaaz Shariat-e-Muhammadi in Swat and established close ties with former TTP chief Mullah Fazlullah.
Was the head of the TTP’s campaign
Mohammad Khurasani had cordial and close relations with TTP members at all levels and played a vital role in TTP’s campaign. Officials said Khurasani ran a terrorist hideout in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Miramshah town and fled to Afghanistan after Operation Zarb-e-Azab.

TTP also known as Pakistani Taliban, is a banned terrorist organization operating along the Afghanistan-Pakistan border. It has carried out several attacks in Pakistan in more than a decade, in which thousands of people have died. It allegedly uses the territory of Afghanistan to plot terrorist attacks against Pakistan.
