According to the European Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMSC), the magnitude of this earthquake was 6.3. Local seismologists in China have given this earthquake a 6.9 on the Richter scale. Nine people were injured in the earthquake, out of which eight have already been discharged from the hospital. According to the Global Times newspaper, about two meters long part of the Great Wall of China collapsed due to the earthquake.
